RECYCLING STARTS WITH YOU
The mission of the Louisiana Recycling Coalition is to improve recycling across our state, both in quantity and quality of material, through partnership, education and advocacy. To do that WE NEED YOU!
A COMMON VISION
The board of the Louisiana Recycling Coalition shares this vision: To foster a culture in which resources are recycled and reused to their maximum potential.
Who We AreThe Louisiana Recycling Coalition (LRC) is a membership-based network of individuals from industry, government, and non-government entities that support recycling efforts to strengthen local economies in Louisiana.
HELP US MAKE MEASURABLE MOVES!
"If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it" – Peter Drucker
According to the statistics, Louisiana is last in the nation on its recycling efforts at a current 9% recycling rate. Out of the 303 municipalities in the state, only 24 currently report their solid waste and recycling data.
Louisiana is in desperate need of standardizing the way in which solid waste and recycling data gets reported. This will provide key insights into tracking program performance and can be used to make more informed decisions.
Make a one-time or recurring donation to the Louisiana Recycling Coalition and help us in our efforts to implement data-driven recycling management across our state.
